Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

The lack of an M.2 slot for SSD is easily solved by the remaining 8 PCIe lanes and 2 remaining slots - in one (PCIe 3.0 x8) - an SSD drive on an NVMe-> PCIe adapter, in the other (PCIe 2.0 x4) - a 10GbE network controller, with optics or copper DAC cable to the home server / router. The sound is perfectly output via HDMI / DP on the video card - digitally, and to the monitor. After getting acquainted with this class of equipment, buying more expensive household consumer goods is simply…

Pros
  • Gorgeous mat. board for home - working and gaming computer! Advantages: - Supports Xeon E5-16xx processors, which are much better than Core-i7, but at the same time 2 times cheaper. - Square 2022-R3 socket - any coolers or CBO will do. (with a rectangular one would have to look). - With 40 PCI express lanes, it is possible to put 2 PCIe 3.0 x16 graphics cards, and they _both_ will work in 16x mode, giving maximum performance. - Gorgeous BIOS - with excellent settings for setting up a professional system, which are not available in household rubbish. - Remote control via IPMI - being away or at work, you can always get on the computer by turning it on remotely.
Cons
  • It is almost impossible to buy in 2022. When ordering, the stores listed on call and say that "they are out of stock, when it will be - we don't know."

Buyer beware of motherboard Item

I would give this motherboard 0 stars but I have to post something. The board died after five months of use. I've removed all peripherals, swapped out RAM, reset the BIOS and it keeps stopping at code 69, which I think is a northbridge diagnostic. I have used many super micro based systems over the years and this is the first system to fail. I am posting my review more out of concern for the quality of this product. Another disadvantage of this product is that if you don't connect anything to…

Great motherboard but watch out for CPU compatibility

Great motherboard but the description should say LGA2011-V3 connector. This only works with 4th generation V3 processors. It doesn't work with i7-4930K. Good thing I had another project that required one of these. It is compatible with i7 5820K. Also note that it has a USB 3.0 connector, which isn't compatible with USB 2.0 cable sets, so you'll need to buy one of those if you want USB on the front. All in all, if you need reliable I/O, this board is for you. POST is the actual test, so it takes

great electronics good for internal

i'm worried that the chinese made a mistake in the bios updates due to a virus deal, it's been a while since i read about it. The board works very well, it takes a while to download but it's easy. Normal Supermicro thing just doesn't update bios

Let's see how long it lasts

So far so good. This replaced the original X10SRA-F motherboard in an OEM case with a Xeon E5-1650 V3 processor. The original died after 3.5 years due to a boot failure with a PCE graphics card installed. It boots with the built-in VGA but not with an external graphics card. Actually it wasn't stable from the beginning, but the OEM couldn't find the problem. Now it seems to be working fine. Let's see how long this lasts.

CPU socket type LGA2011-v3

This is a good board but the description needs to be changed. The CPU socket type is LGA2011-v3, NOT LGA2011. Because of this error, I had to replace the ordered processor with another one. If they changed the description I would give this board 5 stars.
