Exactly what you need. My Rottweiler puppy is only 13 months old and she only has 2 spots on her large collar. Like the width. This will be their work collar when we tend the sheep. The leather is nice and sturdy, looks like it should take a lot of wear and tear.

This is my second purchase since buying a smaller collar for my mastiff puppy who has outgrown him. I live in Southern California and couldn't find a leather collar of the same quality for less than $100. This collar is very thick and the leather quality is impressive. The visual impact of this collar is wonderful and looks great against my pup's dark fur. I highly recommend.

This collar has served my Mastiff mix well who gets wet a lot. I don't take off the collar when it's wet because I'm concerned about its safety. It didn't seem to affect the skin. All rivets were intact although some were scratched as he likes to rub against things. But for the price, this is a really great collar. It's really heavy, I don't know why it's not more expensive!

We really like the quality of the leather collar, with one exception, the metal rivets are easily removed by our scratching dogs. The day we put it on her, I found these little metal domes all over the house and couldn't figure out where they came from. They leave behind an unsightly pane to which a dome was attached. I just used a pair of wire cutters to cut it so our dog or family member wouldn't get hurt. Otherwise a nice collar and well made.

For the price I expected a better product. The skin is stiff and difficult to thread through the two attachment rings. The D-ring is fine, but the other two thin metal rings(?) (to secure the end of the collar) are of poorer quality. significantly less. The 4 adjustable holes are too far apart. It can easily have 5 holes without violating the integrity of the collar.
