Garbage Beauty & Personal Care

My 6 year old daughter loves manicure and pedicure so we were very excited to try this confetti nail polish. Unfortunately, our polish didn't work at all. I've used a lot of confetti and glitter nail polishes and this set is rubbish. Confetti is not applicable no matter how hard you try. In fact, this is a transparent varnish in bottles of different colors. I do not recommend this.

Pros
  • even old people can understand

Don't follow directions, use a sponge to apply

Three Cheers for Girls by Make It Real - Confetti Nail Polish Set - New formula a little young to use gel polish. So I thought this might be a fun set for her to get the confetti effect. The confetti is hung on a thicker than usual transparent lacquer. I followed the instructions which literally say apply 2 layers. Unfortunately, when applying polish, the confetti just doesn't want to transfer. All that remains is a transparent layer of varnish without confetti. When we did that, most of the…

Colors do not have the same viscosity.

In this test, I painted each of the five colors with three coats of varnish, starting from the tip to the back. I notice that the purple had a runny consistency while the orange was very gooey and I was never able to get the same viscosity, even remotely as any of the other four colors. I know it's for kids and it's supposed to flake off, but I can only give it a 3 because I think it should have the same viscosity inside. This is a cute little neon set for kids and gosh I don't think even an…

Perfect! Nail Polish

I love this Three Cheers for Girls - Confetti nail polish set, free from harsh chemicals and safe for kids. My daughter loves the bright colors and the confetti inside adds sparkle and color. The colors are subtle so if you want them to be brighter you will need to apply at least 3 coats. The bottles are small but at the time of this review they are reasonably priced and represent good value for money.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it

Difficult to work with nail polishes

These polishes are very cute; I know they are for kids so I wasn't expecting the best quality but I thought they would still hold up well if I applied them as a topper and used a better primer and varnish. But... it doesn't seem. First, it's very, very difficult to remove glitter from a bottle with a brush - even trying to invert the bottle and pour just a little nothing comes out. So it's difficult to even place glitter (which I can't imagine for many kids in the target age group). Also…

Meh so so Nail Art & Polish

It's ok at best. The polish isn't top quality, but not much different than most "baby" polishes I've worked with. I find that applying glitter polish with a sponge is usually the easiest way, especially for kids. It's like stamping nails instead of painting them. I basically removed the stars because 1 bottle was completely dry. I don't know what happened, it didn't break or leak in the packaging but there was dried polish inside.
