Served a purpose.

Easy to use. No sharp edges to cut ham or gloves. Slightly shorter than advertised but more than enough to fit a 4 point low canopy.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great product and arrived on time

I used this product to repair my single width modular home. They arrived on time and were great quality, I ordered 3 and they arrived perfect

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Very sharp: industrial truck

Exactly what I needed and excellent quality. Be careful, it's very sharp. Although I was extremely careful, the excessive slack whipped around and cut the back of my leg, tearing all the tendons. Please be extra careful.

Pros
  • trial period for one year

Be careful: Material handling products

Great product but be careful when opening the spool. It is wound under great tension and will fly. I opened mine by releasing the first coil through the zip tie without cutting the zip tie. I'm glad I did because even opening it that way was pretty jarring. Plus it's a great product and handy in any store.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Tape

Contractor Hardware

Wear gloves and safety glasses! This is a high quality product with an ASTM rating as well as the HUD certifications listed in the product description. This is NOT a soft metal, but high carbon steel that must be cut with a hacksaw or cut-off wheel; Don't bother with spoiled tin snips. The illustration shows a sling fastened with a cable tie. If you cut it off, you'll regret it when the whole roll unwinds abruptly. Slide the tape down the spool when you have pulled out enough tape.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Sturdy and versatile

I have a '93 RV that had to have the recovery tank removed (that's a whole story in itself). The original support straps were cut by someone in the past and they built a crappy (unintended pun) way to support the tank. When I reinstalled the tank, I wanted to use piping similar to what was originally installed by the manufacturer. RV sites don't tell you what to use or offer you anything for sale. I found this on AMAZON (aren't they great!) and it worked great. A full waste tank in my setup…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Perfect for making your own mounting brackets

I did not use this for strapping. I've used it to make custom brackets and mounting plates for my woodworking and electronics projects. It's just the perfect thickness that can be bent with tools, but is difficult to bend by hand. So it stays in place until you want it. It can be drilled, use cobalt drill and slow speed with strong pressure, after pushing it in with a punch to prevent walking. He's stuck in a vise. It can hardly be cut with airplane scissors. I could carve and sometimes even…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
