Not Worth the Investment

As my tests showed, these log holders are far too weak and brittle to hold up even small logs for cutting. While they may initially seem sturdy enough, the plastic construction quickly shows signs of wear and tear. The only upside is their compact size, but that hardly makes up for their overall lack of quality.

Pros
  • Compact size
Cons
  • Weak and brittle plastic construction

So that the trunk really doesn't swing when sawing

I like it very much. I use a swing blade sawmill that likes to rock logs when cutting smaller diameter logs. These rule it out.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Functionality

Block dogs but still steel dogs

They work as advertised. I like the fact that I can put them up when the ground is hard. Just don't cut them with a chainsaw or sawmill because they're steel - you won't enjoy the experience and it might even be dangerous. I propose as a new product that the company offers the same in aluminum. This should not be taken as a complaint, but only as a suggestion for another product.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
