Good for low-end terminal

I used this terminal for a new extension box for two 10 inch speakers. The terminals themselves are screws on the outside that hold the 14 gauge wire I used. As this is not a very high quality clamp there is a small chance that the screws will loosen over time if hit by the subwoofer, in which case screw them back in. Inside the clamp is your typical brass plug, very light brass. I recommend soldering to these terminals as twisting the wire will not keep the connection to these tabs in place…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Does the job and that says it all

This is a pretty basic product but I think it beats some of the others at Revain. I was concerned that the panel would buckle due to the sealing of my case and 1200 watts so I used a 2 part epoxy on it as well. In hindsight I don't think it was necessary, but the terminal is airtight and doesn't resonate much more than the 3/4" birch around it. Highly recommended for a cheap terminal and unfortunately it's hard to judge these things. from photos online This one sits about a millimeter above the

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Wow! Expensive for a real design. The pictures are nice, but the reality sucks! I have a feeling it was a lure and a switch! It worked, yes. Will it continue, NO!. Now this is the weakest link in my subwoofer assembly. That's why. The plastic cup was ok. However, the clamps are too weak to clamp a serious diameter wire for a long time. Brass rings that have clamping force are thin and poorly threaded, they fall off. Also, the clamps don't hold when tightened. #3 is the largest, NOT HERMETIC…
