Works great, levels and sets all my rocks up to 6000 grit. I didn't notice it leaving any scratches or anything - if you use a circular motion do, it will remove a thin layer of material, leaving a nice, clean, flat surface. As mentioned, you may need to remove some of the burrs on the edges.

Worked very well to remove all my stones. I'm a bit of an amateur at this; This is my first stone fixer and I was very wary of all the negative reviews. Arrived whole, nothing broken or torn. In fact, it was wrapped in about a hundred layers of material to keep it safe. Also, it had some protrusions around the edges which I could see marring the stone. This is very easy to avoid though: just wet it, take it outside and gently file your lips on a rock or something. It doesn't have to be exact…
