As other reviewers have pointed out the stain on these hangers does not fully extend to the entire underside (for darker hangers) and some have rough edges that you notice can snag on clothing - they need to be sanded. However, the vast majority of them look good and work well. At around $1 per hanger shipped, you can't ask for more. One star deducted because of sloppiness, but value for money is right.

Excellent product! I love order and everything in my closet should look the same. I needed more wooden hangers and when I couldn't find them locally I turned to Amazon. So glad I did! These hangers look great. Love the dark color and the fact that they have a notch on each end to keep spaghetti strap dresses from slipping off the end! I have already ordered them 3 times because I replaced all my other wooden hangers with them! Be sure to buy at a great price.

I followed Jason's advice but I only had Clark's Cutting Board Wax on hand, which is basically mineral oil with a bit of beeswax. In general, everything is fine, but there are some bugs. The ending is very bad. I had to sand the hangers to remove the roughness so they wouldn't stick and pull on the polo shirts. The wood they use is of poor quality and has a lot of knots and cracks. That makes me question its durability.
