Weak Magnets - Workshop and Shop

I think this would be a good alternative to a long Port Cargo or Home Depot magnet to hold work tools on the service truck lid. All but light instruments are held in place. Craftsman 1/2 Ratchet slips from vertical lid position, inverted (upside down) does not stay on

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • None

Looks great works exactly as advertised

Locking sockets really work, only one popped out once and I can't tell if it was accidentally turned or the lock didn't work. Pros: Locking feature works well Sturdy construction Strong magnet sticks to iron surfaces Cons: Very bulky, takes up a lot of space compared to a regular rail A magnet is only useful if you have a metal workbench or other place to attach it, i I don't really need it because I take my bag with me everywhere

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Functionality

Disappointed Good for tools and gadgets

Would like to like it but poor design. Not strong enough to hold bits. Top-heavy nutsetters fail. Must be 1/4 inch lower and snug fitting to be effective. The bottom magnet is not strong enough to pull out the drawer liners. It's too expensive for what it is. Back to my Neiko holder. But fear not, because the manufacturer isn't listening and probably won't improve the product. At least I told you so. Save your money and make one out of a block of wood.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • No instructions

I love perforated panels, but you can't use a hook everywhere. It is great!

I put so much on my magnets. Tape measure, angle punch, micro tweezers for my everyday shards, a screw I don't want to lose when I disassemble and (hopefully) reassemble the tool, and more. Cabinet. They slide easily into the pegboard, don't fall out when I open the doors, and perfectly fill the remaining spaces in my tool arrangement. If you use a breadboard, you'll find a use for it!

  • thin

May work if used for short bits

This container is magnetic so it sticks to iron surfaces. The bottom of the holes are also magnetic so they will hold the hex bits you insert into the holes and the bits won't fall out even when the carriage isn't held upright. The picture shows short fragments. Caddy is just right for short beats. Because the holes are too big, tall bits won't stand up when you put them in the holes, even if the bottom of the holes is magnetized. I would have preferred the holes to be a little smaller…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Just arrived, first impression.

I bought them because they were half the price of good ones. Before purchasing, I read several reviews that said these rails are made of aluminum and plastic. This isn't a deal breaker, just not what some claim. I use my tools 40 hours a week at work and need good control over them. I will update my review after using it for a while. Currently, other mechanics in the hangar are using "Mechanics Time Savers" brand locking rails, which have an aluminum body but are significantly more expensive.

Pros
  • Amazing

  • Not trendy
