I bought this for my daughter's bedroom and we love it! It is very easy to assemble and requires no equipment; everything just fits. It's very solid and spins very smoothly even when loaded with books. The only downside is that there are no instructions included. So if you buy it I will save pictures of it from here for you to remember how to put it together. Otherwise it's great!

The material is more of a foamed version of chipboard, so it feels very cheap. It's also stronger than I expected. Assembly could have been easier with more detailed instructions, but it only took me about 30 minutes overall, so can't really complain. Some parts were scratched or dented, which is understandable given the cheapness of the material. It's not a big deal to me because it will be in my playroom where my kids will destroy it anyway, but don't buy it if you want to display it…

This bookcase snaps into place. Putting it back together was easy, but putting it back together was tricky. (Everyone will have a different opinion on easy or heavy based on strength - you need muscle) I like it though. It fits ALL books, but large books are difficult to turn over without falling over, so you have to move very slowly. and that's fine.
