Definitely OK for the money

Bought to replace an ARRIS modem/router from a cable company that stops working everyday (more than once a day). After fiddling around, I plugged it into my existing router instead. It's not faster; albeit fairly quickly. After the bridge, the interruptions stopped, so I'm satisfied. I gave it four stars because I haven't used the 5MHz part yet.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not the best

mmm - Router

Good form factor. The connection for each computer icon is maintained, but the actual data transferred is inconsistent. You can verify this by running a speed test. With a different access point in the house, the downstream is fairly linear, slowly rising or falling over the course of the test. However, the Archer C20i's throughput starts out with a spike, then drops off, flicking on and off randomly. You can appreciate this simply by watching 1080p or even 720p content from Youtube with…

Best Value - Archer C20i

I've owned this for over 3 months now and have never had to restart it or cycle it to fix any issues. I chose the non-gigabit version because I don't have many devices connected directly and none of them would support the speed. Installation was easy, only had one problem connecting my Roku. I went into the settings and completely removed the WPS code. Here's what happened: I entered my WPA2 and it wasn't checked. Even though my password was correct it was trying to use a WPS password so I just

Great for $, but.

An excellent router for its price. The 5GHz band on it could be better, but it's easy to set up and never needs to be reset. I use it for multiple devices including iphone, computer and playstation 4. I have to edit my review on 3 starts. The range on this thing is terrible. Also, it doesn't seem to maintain a constant speed like it should. It's good if you're looking for a cheap router, but I'd like to upgrade as soon as possible.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Constant communication problems. Repeated attempts to find a solution to the problem of installing the printer on the network were unsuccessful. It seemed that foreign (non-US) help worked from scripts and just couldn't understand my problem. In the end I gave up and sent the device back. Not worth saving. I bought an Asus router that worked perfectly and installed my printer on the network with no problems or questions.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Waiting time too long

Good characteristics. 6 months with no damage

I don't know why there are bad reviews on this product but mine has lasted like a rock for about 6 months and is still growing. Can't comment on the range as my house is small, but I've never had to reset it or anything. I just wish it had a gigabit ethernet connection, but that problem is easily solved with a gigabit switch (my internet isn't >100mbps anyway). Compact and sleek. Like the USB port (you can connect a USB hard drive enclosure and have a network storage device through a…

Pros
  • Durable finish

Router works with cable modem purchased to replace my Comcast gateway. Initially I thought the device was defective, but my problem is related to an update that was sent to my phone. Decent coverage and my other devices connect securely. The printer is connected to a wired port. Works well. The device has private 2.4G and 5G networks and public 2.4G and 5G networks, i.e. separate networks. A total of 4 networks are available. Pretty cool for the price. Each or none of them can have different…
