Nice, thick and shiny item. Very easy to install. Unfortunately, the screws that came with the product were too short to attach the drain cover. I reused the original bolts in place of the short ones that came with the drain cap.

This item says it comes with screws but it doesn't. I checked the packaging and packaging very carefully. No screws. There was a small scratch on the top, it was minor but without the screws I was able to reveal it as well. Do not sell or finish the item listed in the description.

The drain cap is very well made. The weight is balanced and noticeably impressive. However, the screws that come with the lid seem to be too small for the drain holes. One screw got stuck, the second didn't. The screws look like wood with pointed ends, although I figured the screws were meant to be more of a machine type. Otherwise this was not a serious problem.

Yes, this drain cap is thick and shiny. It's about 4 times thicker than my original, so didn't drain water when installed - the rim acted like a dam. The big problem is that it sticks out so much that the sharp machined edge cuts your leg. This may be fine for new build, but is a poor choice as a replacement unless you're remodeling the floor.

This is a heavy-duty, heavy-duty grille. It fits perfectly in my 4.25 inch shower pan hole. The shower tray has a round groove and fits perfectly. I tried another version because I liked the smaller holes, but it slipped and flexed and sat in a mess. It sits snugly and I can put all my weight on it and it doesn't flex. I also don't have any screw holes on the shower pipe or the shower tray, but that doesn't matter. The fit is so perfect that the grid stays in place.

No screws included as advertised and the old screws from my original panel had a large head so they didn't fit the new grate properly. It's frustrating to pay $10 more than a grill should cost and not get all the hardware. Now I have to spend more money to get new screws or return it and hope the next one comes with screws. Now I change the star from 2 to 1 after the first cleaning with a nylon brush and a regular shower cleaner. She's completely scratched. See image.

Perfect fit and easy to assemble. I originally planned to use screws from my old one but they protruded a bit into the countersunk hole but the screws provided worked fine. The grate cover that this replaced had smaller holes that kept most of the hair from falling off and piling up in the drain. My guess is that larger holes let a lot more hair down the drain in this case, and that means you have to squirm from time to time. Otherwise a perfect product.
