Perfect fit for 2002 Prerunner 2.7L but drain issue.

The drain pipe is sealed so you will have to remove the valve assembly to drain, it will probably be a big mess! There is a hole at the bottom of the drain hole that you can use to drill open the clog. Please advise. THANKS!

Pros: This cooler fits and works for my 2000.

Good: This cooler fits and works for my 2000 2.7L 3rzfe Prerunner Tacoma. It's $100. The Bad: It doesn't look like the picture. He's not black, sucks cock. It doesn't have hooks to hold it in place without screws, so be prepared to hold it while you install it. The size is slightly smaller than the fan cover, but can still be screwed on with a little skill. All in all good enough for an inexpensive replacement.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Shape optional

Ideal. And the price is awesome!

Installed just a few days ago. But the installation was easy. Went into my 1999 Tayota Tacoma Prerunner with 3.4L engine. The exchange took 1 hour, maybe plus time to refuel. I would also suggest getting a new cap as this was an afterthought for me. Especially if you only change the original radiator on an older car. But the cooler is pretty much an OEM copy. Hose connections and fastening elements are perfectly matched to each other. Durability? The time will show.

Pros
  • Something about it
Cons
  • So far so good

HONEST REVIEW 2 year radiator

2003 Tacoma 2.7L Prerunner 2 year review, truck had 140k when radiator ripped. currently 165k.1) Degree of difficulty: easy-medium. I watched a few YouTube videos for some helpful tips. 2) The system was flushed and a new T-Stat, hoses and regular 50/50 distilled water antifreeze added. 3) a typical summer in the south with a temperature of mid 90s - 100 temperature days, 4) not quite typical winter (2017-2018), single digits and for a couple of weeks the temperature did not rise above zero…

Perfect radiator for my Tacoma Doublecab

Bought a replacement radiator for the original radiator on my 2002 Tacoma PreRunner DoubleCab 3.4L V6 with 311k miles because the OEM kept pushing back the order date (they just couldn't ship it) and I'm tired of buying $30 a gallon red coolant to keep my business going. Would have bought an OEM version for three times the price but they couldn't deliver and these guys did. I spent an extra $15 for same day shipping and it was still a good deal. It's the perfect size with the combination of…

Started leaking 40 days after installation. Video attached

Installed this radiator about 40 days ago. Fits reasonably well, about 2-3 inches lower than the factory radiator for this car, but the bolts are aligned. Installation was easy. About 2 days ago it started leaking at a spot about 2-3 inches from the left edge on the passenger side behind the fan shroud and at a spot where it's impossible to hit with a rock or something. SPONTANEOUS LEAK. Now I'm coolerless and outside the return window. I track my truck using the OBD app on my phone to get gas…

Good cooler for needlework

Fits perfectly. Works perfectly. My truck is a 2001 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Doublecab with a V6 5VZ FE engine. Lasted about 30 minutes as an amateur amateur. Don't forget two new bottles of coolant/antifreeze! And when you have 15 minutes and $15 to spare, replace the thermostat. Contrary to popular belief that all thermostats connect to the UPPER terminal, Toyota Tacoma thermostats connect to the BOTTOM terminal. So, with the radiator drained, remove the LOWER housing (2 clamps) and then the small…
