Underwater Handheld Waterproof Photography Accessories Review

Went great the first time! Feels pretty secure and I liked having two large handles compared to the stick style offered by another brand. Will be updated if the quality seems unsatisfactory during my longer field trip next week.

Worked great for long shots while snorkeling in the keys. It was also nice because it gave my camera a good grip while swimming. However, the lens scratched quite easily.

This dome port is better designed than ports with a handle because it makes it easier to frame your photo. While framing it, you can use the thumb trigger to snap a picture. I've tried shooting without a dome and it's almost impossible. The build quality is excellent but I would like a cut out for the front screen. In addition, the plastic case scratches quite easily. The DJI Osmo mechanism fits snugly in this dome-style body. The design is better than the Gopole Dome Pro which has 2 separate parts body and dome. The handles seem strong. This is an inexpensive way to take dome shots. Aluminum screws are more likely to corrode after use in salt water if not rinsed with fresh water. This was an issue with GoPro 3 cases. Glad to get this for a Maui vacation and snorkeling trip to Molokini Crater. I used 1/4-20 bolts for the lights and everything installed. During 10 minutes of snorkeling, 3/4 inch of water collected in the dome. Once water enters the dome it is very difficult to clean it again without disassembling (which I haven't done yet). Great for those who like to shoot above and below water. It's also great for diving/snorkeling. I've taken it on 2 dives to a maximum depth of 70ft and a temperature of 55ºF with no leaks or fogging.
