No pilot pin!

Item not as described. No needle. We couldn't use it and delayed the work. When people want to sell finished goods on Revain. You need to understand how little we depend on accurately described products. MSC can be expensive, but they do it right.

Pros
  • 3/4 inch standard shank with 2 90 degree flats fits most magnetic drills
Cons
  • Doubtful

I will never use hole saws again.

I will never use hole saws again. Oh my god, in a good drill or magnetic drill, these things save lives. Hole saws are short-lived, but these are not. I used it to drill 8 holes in half inch steel plate and it took it like a champ and can always cut more. Don't forget to use some cutting oil to prolong its life and don't forget the guide pin.

Pros
  • Speed cutter M2 HSS
Cons
  • I will add later

Go with cobalt! It's worth it.

Cheap, low quality bit. We barely made a cut and couldn't get the ball out. Without much effort and without withdrawing from the cut, the drill heated up quite quickly. I used a lot of cutting fluid but it still didn't help. We cut through a 1 inch thick sheet of steel. I'm not sure the thinner material would make it any better as we weren't even halfway through when this thing cut fast.

Pros
  • Use coolant or grease
Cons
  • Can't remember
