Versanora VN L00013 Arquer 66 93 Modern Review

We unpacked and assembled this lamp, everything went smoothly. However, once we installed it and turned it on (which also went well) the floor switch was BROKEN after just one use! We decided to buy a new switch instead of disassembling and sending the lamp back. The lamp itself is very nice, but the quality disappointed me.

Although the lamp looks like a cheap version of the picture, it is poorly made. The lamp comes disassembled like other floor lamps, however the screw threads do not match very well. The stone base is heavy and has a beautiful marbling, but why use such a beautiful material when the leg is made of black plastic? I built it (sort of, except for one segment that can't be bolted on) but am considering returning it.

For the price I found this lamp very good value. The base is HEAVY marble (or similar to marble, lol). The "barrel" of the lamp is very durable, does not wobble or bend. The gold ball/shade is very shiny and looks very pretty. This lamp looks expensive! The only small issue is that it doesn't feel super durable on carpet. mine hasn't fallen but seems to have risen a bit on the edge. I'm sure it would be good on hard ground. It is also very easy to assemble!

Good light. It looks exactly like the $279 flashlight I wanted. Both have a beautiful solid polished marble base. Both have a sleek, modern look. This lamp is very wobbly in our carpeted office. The marble base is not sufficiently weighted for the carpet. After assembling it, we immediately became suspicious as it turned out to be unstable. We foolishly decided to give it a try. Within 24 hours it fell on our one day Pottery Barn wooden table and left a dent. We are unhappy. I hesitated to buy BC 1 star review, wrote it fell over on its carpet. I can only assume that a certain buyer put the bow upside down. The base of this lamp is legal! It's heavy AF and unless physically pushed it doesn't just tip over in the wind (mine's on carpet too). Extremely easy assembly, even for one person. Note that all the screws, washers, etc. are FIXED at the top of the long, thin pole, as well as at the bottom of the large pole that goes into the marble base.
