Contents are excellent, outer bag is not so good

Has everything you need The bag is small and once you take everything out it will never fit back. I recommend buying a small Rubbermaid box to keep all of this. Aside from the issue with the location, it's great.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Decent essentials included but beware of inferior add-on cable

The kit has everything you need, but beware of inferior cables! Our cable overheated and melted during the emergency, rendering it unusable. Invest in better quality cables.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative impression

make your own Safe

Everything in this set is cheaply made. This can work in a pinch, but is certainly not recommended. I bought 3 pieces and am disappointed. An air pump the size of a portable alarm clock. • Hard to tell

You can't always control how a hopping car positions itself next to your car. It is therefore very important that the connecting cables are long enough. My son's Honda Pilot 06 needed a jump from my wife's 2018 Honda Pilot. The new car was to the left of the old car. The cables in this kit do not reach both batteries. He was about 2 feet shorter. To be clear, the cars were parked in our two-car garage, right next to each other. I consider connector cables to be the most important part of this…

Pros

  • Lots of stuff

Left me in the dark

On paper it looked like a worthy purchase of an emergency car kit. But then last week he was called to work for the first and only time, and he failed completely. I got the apartment after driving through an unnamed development area on a busy street near the nation's capital. I pulled into the far right lane and turned on 911. It was almost midnight, almost pitch black, and there were almost no streetlights. I opened the trunk and pulled out this kit and the first thing I did was reach for the…
