I bought this monitor as an alternative to the expensive Apple Thunderbolt series and am very glad I did. I saved a lot of money but got amazing quality (aka BOOM for my MONEY!) and the included speakers which was a nice bonus. It came with a stand, but I chose to mount it on the wall behind my desk so I have more desk space to work with. So far no complaints, I will buy again!

It is very easy to connect and ViewSonic is known for their high quality products. The image on the screen is sharp and clear, with no smudges on the eyes. The documentation could be a bit better in the box, but the website has everything you need. It's worth the money and would buy it again without question. Revain has a good price. I've heard most places are out of stock and this item may be discontinued - I bought this monitor in 2016 and it's 2019 and it's still working great!

Nice bright picture. What I don't like is the lack of an easy way to control the built-in speakers. They do not respond to computer volume controls. It's a real pain not being able to turn them off or adjust the volume without going into the OSD and pressing a series of buttons. And the keys are so badly labeled that you can't see the markings, especially when the bright monitor is on. I'm including a picture to show the original and the toothpaste grated on it.

I bought this monitor because of its impressive size and most importantly because of the blue light filter. This was a smart move as the filter is amazing and easy to use - you have a 0 to 100 scale showing how much or how little you want to apply. This is an excellent monitor. Unpacking and connecting took no more than 15 minutes. Worked great with regular windows drivers and even better after downloading the driver from Viewsonic. My only complaint is that this sucker is BRIGHT! I had to set the brightness/contrast to about a third of maximum (it was set to maximum by default) to be able to use it.

The resolution of the monitor is very sharp and clear. I have no questions about the image quality at all. The only downside I have is the base size, which is about the same for all monitors of this size. I understand you need to have a base big enough to make it stable, but larger bases certainly take up more desk space. Otherwise it's great.

White, off-white, yellow and gray mix and you can hardly tell them apart. In addition, they do not stand out against the background. Bought this monitor for home work - email, spreadsheets etc. It is ideal for these purposes with a clear and bright image. It has VGA and HDMI ports, but no DisplayPort, which many laptop docking stations now use.

I spend many hours every day in front of my computer. By the time I was in my 70s, I started noticing eye fatigue because text wasn't as clear as it used to be. I ordered two of these displays to replace outdated 21.5" KDS units. ViewSonic had no dead pixels and was easy to set up. Only minimal adjustment (contrast and brightness) was required to achieve excellent performance. The built-in power supply is a plus as it doesn't struggle with a wall wart or hanging power supply.
