Advantages: fast monitor with good picture quality. Cons: Color balance is a little too red out of the box, but it's okay if you tweak the color settings a bit. The adjustments are a bit fiddly. The monitor stand is not height adjustable. The built-in speakers are worse than the iPhone. However, I recommend this monitor for 2K gaming on a budget. Even though it's from their budget line, the ViewSonic quality is still there.

Curvature is useful when I have 3 monitors in a row. In hindsight maybe I should have bought a huge monitor but that would have been a lot more expensive. I ordered 2 units and both joysticks were defective when they arrived. So there is no way to customize anything. I just hooked them up and they will work great with Windows 10 or 11 once they come out. They don't show the loading screen in the mail. I can't get them to boot into Linux very well either. First on the Standmech. I have two monitors so it's not a problem. Colors are okay, contrast and brightness are nice, you just have to play around with the settings on the monitor to get a good result. I would recommend if you need decent 2k 144Hz. In general, a good monitor. I wouldn't get upset about it. What worries me is that the menu doesn't allow or have a lot of choices to adjust settings. it comes with factory settings. Colors, brightness, blackness etc. are not bad. It's just a pity that you can't adjust anything more on the monitor. If I could pay a little more to get a better monitor I would, but based on what I paid for it. it's about right and slightly better than others in this price range.

I was very worried it would come to me somehow broken but it was perfect and the optics are great, it took me 2 minutes to set it up for my favorite image.

It's worth it. I really can't think of any cons as I'm not very good at handling certain details, although the 1ms mode does reduce the brightness. It's also slightly blurry, like motion blur when I play Siege, even though motion blur isn't enabled. But overall it's bright, responsive, sharp and has very intuitive monitor settings to tweak claimed aspects.

The monitor arrived with markings that looked like someone had taken four fingers, dipped them in a clear coating and dragged them vertically across the center of the glass. Upon setting it up and turning it on, there were cracks in the image and missing image areas along the previously noted marks, rendering the monitor unusable. The person who delivered this left it outside in the snow as I live in an apartment building 3 stories above ground. Instead of carrying him upstairs, three flights of stairs decided to let him outside. Regardless of how it was delivered, however, the screen works well and is fun to play MMORPGs on.

This monitor is a bit bitchy, I won't lie, it's really big and good for the price. Bought last year, no problems so far. Don't be a clown and make sure you turn on 144Hz when you get this screen monster.

The screen is frankly gorgeous. The price was good for what you get. Loading up The Witcher 3 took my breath away and I'm sure this thing does Cyberpunk 2077 justice. Switching from a low refresh rate 1080p monitor to this one is a night and day difference. I'm very focused on bang for the buck as long as this thing delivers.

This screen was necessary to be able to continue working from home. The packaging is undamaged but the screen is cracked from top to bottom. Viewsonic and Revain do not give the buyer an option for a screen replacement, only a refund. Nice picture but if you're buying for the Xbox X or S series the system won't recognize the 144Hz capability. The highest achievable refresh rate is 1440p at 60 Hz.
