Immediately after receiving and installing the item, I noticed a rattling noise inside the item. Something rattled in the shell. The item appears to be serviceable but I didn't want the new item to be damaged and under warranty. Chatting with a Revain representative said I could re-order the item at retail price and a follow-up check with a new representative revealed that this was not possible.

The refurbished device arrived in very good/like new condition. The color setting needs some tweaking, but everything works as expected. Great monitor for old people like me. I need more to soothe my eyes.

Great monitor. If you need a full refresh rate, you need a display port cable. Drivers were easy to get and freesync as expected.

It worked the entire twenty minutes! I installed it on my desk after work and it didn't even turn on the next day. I didn't touch anything after the initial setup. I'm not sure if I received a refurbished item, but the packaging appeared to be 'new'. Shipping was very fast as was my return and Revain credit. But I would like to get a loan back on my credit card.

I got this monitor because I needed an urgent upgrade to my old setup and it's great. Amazing sound, attractive graphics. I wish I had done that sooner. 5 Stars.

It has a great form factor, but its physical display is too big to only support HD (1080p), it should be 2550 x 1040. It's not the value for money they want. IMO you should look elsewhere.

All in all: hands off this monitor. There are better monitors out there that don't lie about their specs. I will no longer buy from ViewSonic due to false claims about this monitor. Pros: +144Hz is a huge step up from my old 70Hz monitor, especially for gaming. + Colors look bright and vibrant after adjusting settings. + Has FreeSyncCons: -165hz is a marketing gimmick. I bought this product in November last year. This product screen came out in August of this year! I had it for 9 months! That's all! I didn't use too much of it either. I used it about 4 times a week, usually less. I think because the screen is so big, 32 inches when viewed close up like a computer monitor, a higher resolution would be more optimal. Of course, this requires more graphics power, so those with an older or slower computer will be fine. Otherwise it looks good with a little fine-tuning of the controls.

I have had many ViewSonic devices. I bought it for my son and the first thing we noticed was the very poor picture quality. The brightness has highlighted spots in the corners that are very visible and annoying. Very disappointed as it seems like they cut a lot of corners when making this product. Return for refund.

This is an AMAZING monitor! I feel like the value of money spent is in favor of the buyer. I bought my son one as a Christmas present for his home office and gaming needs, he loved it so much I bought one for my home office myself.

Looks nice and versatile considering it has joystick navigation and built in speakers. Where it isn't is in brightness and saturation. To get accurate color rendition with noticeable contrast, you need to set the brightness too low for my liking. It becomes an ultra-dark screen for everyday use. I only recommend this panel to gamers not using it in a daylight room. And using a 1ms response time further reduces the brightness.

Bought this for my wife to replace a fairly dated 2005 Dell 30 inch. Has a blue light filter to help with eye strain etc. Seriously considering replacing my 3 Acer ED273 monitors on my gaming rig with 3 of these. Both are showing their age, so 1080p is fine for our work. Highly recommended.
