What's blacker than black?

That stuff! It blocks all visible light. I first tested it with my CREE tactical flashlight right in front of it and there was no sign of light. Note that this is "visible light". I actually bought this to try and hide the infrared LEDs on security cameras as the LEDs in close proximity produce too much light for my cameras and some of the infrared light still goes through this film. Although it definitely makes a big difference. Of course, ads don't block the entire spectrum of light, so I…

I was very disappointed. The box was intact and not intact.

The package came quickly but when I opened the box I was very disappointed. The box turned out to be intact and undamaged, however the roll of film was completely crushed on one side, causing the film to crease. It wasn't wrapped around a rigid cylinder as advertised. It was also packaged without instructions. I installed it and it provides complete privacy which is what I need for my front door. This is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. I had to take a piece off and redo it because I…

good product BUT arrived with no packaging or instructions

The roll arrived in a tube with no packaging or instructions. The material is very thin and at first I thought it was just a single layer of film that only sticks to the glass with water. and it stayed there for 2-3 days and then fell off. I was very upset and ready to just throw it away! Luckily I saw a review about how difficult it is to remove the film to reveal the glue! It is actually VERY DIFFICULT to remove the film. But once you do that, the glue works pretty well, although the…

Not worth the money.

It was very difficult to install but in the 2nd section I somehow figured it out. The backing is done pretty well and I thought it had no backing until my cut caught and managed to peel off. Bought 17.1x60. That was barely enough to make two sections of a four panel window. When installing, be sure to install in daylight and trim slightly on the outside where the window connects to the frame. I found that after drying the film had shrunk and white light was coming through the edges. It's…
