I love this fruit themed pet bed. I bought the largest size (xl) as my kitten is of Maine Coon pedigree. The product itself is very soft, made of fabric-covered foam rubber. The banana peel has Velcro on the end to "peel off" the top flap and when closed your kitty can easily open it. This is a fun novelty that provides your pet with a safe "cave like" space in which to hide and nap.

I like it (maybe more than my rabbit. You win something, you lose something)! The little banana peel flap actually has square velcro so it can be secured. The average bed is roomy for my 3 pound lion's brow, so I reckon it can hold up to 6-7 pounds comfortably. It's so stinky, cute, and seems sturdy enough to just throw in the washing machine! Great purchase even if you like it more than the animal you bought it for :)

I was so sad to see my cat was too big for this. It's soft, so if cats like to hide in small areas, they should definitely love it. Can't really certify durability as I sent it back due to the size. I will say that there was nothing to restore its structure. So if the cat lays on it, you have to push it back. But the top has velcro to keep it "open". But in my opinion there is no possibility of cleaning. It's definitely very cute and fun!

We received the medium size almost 3 months ago. It has been washed several times and still looks/feels great. No problems with this purchase. The way she wraps herself around and hugs gives him security and he likes it. The other day we took him out and gave him some shirts to nest in and his anxiety was building. He looked at us because we left the banana at home. When we got home he jumped back into the banana and the fear went away :) At this point he barely fits in, we have to pull it out.
