This wine rack is a winner in every way. It holds 24 bottles (!) and has a glass shelf that can comfortably accommodate at least 8 glasses (depending on size and style). The construction is very solid, which is important as it contains all of our wine! It has nice smooth lines, so it's aesthetic but understated. We store things like an aerator, bottle opener, wine corks and extra wine bottles on top, but it can also be a good workspace for drink prep. Really can't praise this wine rack!

When we were remodeling our kitchen we were given a wine cooler which we filled to capacity but we bought more than it could hold. There's no room for more, so we looked for another solution to the overflow problem. This rack meets all requirements perfectly. Looks great, is easy to assemble and holds plenty of wine and glasses. I am very happy with this shelf. It holds 20 bottles of wine and 12 glasses. The tabletop is large enough to store other alcoholic beverages and barware, as well as enough space for cocktail preparation. As others have said, solid wood parts. Assembly was very easy, all tools were included. The only downside was that the floors were wobbly on the sides. They were attached to the sides with a couple of screws, so I tightened them with a screwdriver. This is a compact yet roomy item that is great

Easy Assembly: Ensure the bottle crossbars are properly positioned for screw and pin holes before applying glue. All the pre-drilled holes were exactly where they should be and everything fits together nicely. I was half expecting it to be soft pine, but it's hardwood - lovely beech, as I said. Surprisingly, the table top, sides, and bases are nearly 1 inch thick. The legs are even thicker. The glass stand fits glass bases LARGER than 2" (eyeglass leg hole) but less than 3.25". Simple, strong and tasteful. Great buy for the price. I assembled the product myself with no problems. However, I'm giving four stars because they sent the wrong quantity of a particular part. Instead of two narrow boards with two pins and two narrow boards with a pole, I took one with two poles and three with one pole. I was so impressed with the first one that I immediately ordered a second one - see the photo I've uploaded at the top of this page to get an idea of the capacity (and footprint). . First of all, the reason I like this rack is that it fits two dozen 750ml bottles in a very small space. In fact, the "footprint" is less than two and a half feet by less than a foot and a half.
