I had high hopes for this skirt. Cut, style, color - all very pleasing. I of course washed it first to remove the sizing. As with any cotton skirt, the bottom 3 inches were wrinkled and creased, so I sprayed them with fabric relaxer and smoothed them out. Edit update below. I wanted to love this skirt so bad. The colors and patterns on it are amazing, but it's just ink applied to fabric. It's stiff and conforms to my hips and legs instead of flowing. What some reviewers didn't like about the skirt, I liked. I'm 5ft 1" and usually wear a size 18. I read the size chart and ordered a size 2X. It fits perfectly and I don't have to wear it up to my chest to avoid stepping on it. I almost ordered an XL after looking at the size chart so I'm so glad I read the reviews. I switched to Med (which is what I usually wear) and it was spot on. The color is nice, the fabric is normal. The stiff, crumpled cotton doesn't hang well and had a few creases in odd places. I was planning on returning it but decided to steam it up a bit to see if that helps. It really is like that. It loosened the fabric so it hung well, and it gave it a slightly flared bottom without losing any creases.
