MY XANTREX C60 IS NOT WORKING

After installing my Xantrex C60, I noticed that the batteries only charge at 12 volts. I had a sunny guy and he said that the float is not registered anywhere in the controller. He said the block was defective. I want my money back or a new one that works.

Pros
  • Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controlled
Cons
  • No power

no reply to Tect question on email

works but not as well as the ones I've had on the same system for six years, makes a humming noise when it goes over 25 amps when the battery doesn't need it, all those old 60 amps can handle it, no problem . I had to reduce the number of panels but I will buy another c60 from another seller.

Pros
  • 2 year guarantee
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

These charge/discharge controllers offer excellent value for money.

These charge/discharge controllers offer excellent value for money. Hard as a nail. Very reliable. Carries twice the rated current (depending on the model) until the overheat protection fails and keeps coming back for more, not that I'm recommending you do that on purpose. I've been using them in my solar system for about 8 years and just add them as needed to increase my system's performance.

Pros
  • Works with wind turbines, solar panels and hydroelectric generators.
Cons
  • Safety

Revain won't be replacing them in just a few months

I have and use two C40 voltage controllers, one of which is from 2014. All are still working. However, this C40 failed two months after it was installed in September of that year. I used to be able to call and get tech support with the C40, now I can't even use email. What's even trickier is that there is no way to return this or contact anyone as the return window and support window have expired per the fulfillment center policy: 1. This device could mean life or death for someone offline in…

Pros
  • 100% solid state controllers (no mechanical relays or solenoids)
Cons
  • Functionality
