These shoes were fantastic, I wear them for weightlifting and running. I used to wear the Merrell Vapor Glove 3 but they kept breaking after 6 months (especially when running in them). They seem to be holding up a lot better than Merrells. As for the Xero, I tried wearing it with inserts but ended up taking it out.

Comfortable shoes. I wear socks with the right toes and feel like it's the right thing. The length can be a little longer. My big toes touch the top of the shoe. Overall I feel better than my Merrell. At first I was hesitant to buy them and bought Merrell and when my big toes kept hurting in Merrell I broke down and bought these. It was worth it!

Nicely packaged with a note card from the founders. I have another pair of Minamilsta shoes that are not easy to put on but you get what you pay for. My only concern is that they smell like rubber and I hope that goes away. I like it with and without insoles. I will wear them with light cotton socks. Attractive shoes! The size is a disaster. I received a size larger than usual but I think I need to add another half size. I won't try to replace them because I felt the sole encourages pronation when walking in the shoes. Not good. The lateral edge of the sole is felt to be thicker than the medial due to the traction knuckles. I think the sole needs to be more consistent for this whole sandal to work.
