My original fuser had a broken plastic gear so it was time to replace it. This unit was a perfect match for my Phaser 6500. It was very easy to replace yourself and the box included instructions on how to reset the fuser counter.

Works great on my Xerox Phaser 6500 which I messed up clearing a paper jam. It was a bit pricey and it would have been nice if Xerox only supplied the roller and not the whole kit. You learn from your mistakes I think. The entire assembly makes replacement easy.

We just received this fuser from Xerox 1 month and 4 days ago and the unit needs to be replaced. What junk are you selling us? The Xerox WorkCenter 6505DN was also a nightmare. repair after repair. I spent so much fixing this damn machine I could have bought at least 5 other printers!
