Flying Carbide. This blow failed in the most impressive way.

Probably the most dangerous bit I have ever used. The first time I used this attachment to join multiple pieces of soft maple it failed in the most startling and spectacular way. When I put my third piece through the cutter, 3 of the 8 carbide teeth broke off and 3 pieces of carbide were thrown out of the cutter. The resulting compromised bit resulted in an equally impressive board bounce. Luckily, I escaped relatively unscathed. I currently have several other Yonico bits, but at the moment I'm

. Replacement for one I was getting bored with

I just received this product to replace one I was getting bored with. I put it in my router, turned it on and it started wobbling like it was off center before I could even turn the router off, the shank bent and touched the table of the router and destroyed the table, collar on my router and threw pieces on my table. Well this isn't the first time I've used a router or jointer so it wasn't a case of mismatch, the bit had to be off center or unbalanced and as soon as it came up to speed itโ€ฆ

Great tool at a good price

In the last minute of the project I realized that some of my cypress stock was running short. I had never used a spiked nozzle before so I went with this one because it was the cheapest but had good reviews. I set it up on my router table and carefully marked the position of the teeth in relation to the table surface, then using scraps of the same cypress stock I made the necessary two passes - one face up on a piece and the other face down then the second piece. Testing of the connectionโ€ฆ
