The tail when fitted to a human neck is quite short and barely fits in the tag on the back making it difficult to sharpen. The idea is great, but it takes work to implement it. There needs to be a way to adjust the length of the visible part of the tie, and the tail (the back part that is the zipper) needs to be designed to hang around the neck at the correct length, rather than just being right when the neck loop is 3 inches in diameter.

I ordered these for my grandson who participates in high school debates. He is tall but very thin and they were perfect. A lot of reviews say you have to pull the pin out of the zipper, but you don't. Just hold the top part and pull the part that goes around the next. The zipper doesn't open. New colors and good quality! Very satisfied!

I like this set and the price was very attractive so I can't be too critical. My only issue is that the zippers are stuck out of the box. I found out (too late) that to unzip it you have to drag it in a certain direction and then move back and forth as expected. I actually broke one studying this when I ripped the pin holding the zipper out of my tie knot.
