Everything came on time and intact. In my case, the hard drive case is designed for a larger drive. But it was what I expected. Increased SSD height to keep components in place. I'd say it's more for drives that aren't constantly being removed and replaced. However, proper pressure on the SATA connector and drive cover helps.

So I bought this for a laptop that came with no AC adapter, battery, hard drive or hard drive cage. I bought everything except the SSD (since SSD is better) the same day I paid for the laptop I bought on eBay so the laptop arrived about a week after everything else arrived. OK, so that wasn't a problem. I took my new 2TB SSD out of the Amazon box and found that it came with its own 7mm to 9mm adapter! Big! Unless I've already paid for it. I've used these to stabilize a couple of SSDs that I've installed in a couple of computers that are being restored for charity. They were exactly what I was looking for. The SSD mounts on the PC had too much free space and were only mounted on one side, so the drive bounced when moved (even with the mounting screws tightened).
