Aeternity lets you connect real-world data to smart contracts. Any real-world data can be integrated such as voting result, commodity prices (like oil and gas), weather conditions. This opens up the field for major use cases like supply chain management, insurances, gaming and so on. In case of Ethereum or Bitcoin, everything remains confined within the walls of the blockchain and there is no connection between real-world data and blockchain. Combining these three elements Aeternity breaks the bottleneck for even further adoption of blockchain technology. Just like Ethereum blockchain covers shortcoming of bitcoin blockchain, Aeternity is one step ahead of Ethereum.

Pros
  • At a total supply of 273,685,830 AE and 1000$/AE that would put it at a market cap of about $273,685,830,000 -- two hundred seventy-three billion, six hundred eighty-five million, eight hundred thirty thousand dollars; about 59 billion more than today's Bitcoin's market cap.
Cons
  • It can easily go into the hundreds $$$, but indeed AE can go to $1000 provided the entire crypto market cap goes up a lot, which is likely to happen and provided AE succeeds with their projects which will happen almost guaranteed.
