these whistles are junk. I bought it to call my dog back to the houseand she cannot hear it just 50 feet away. Loud, crisp sounds, are false advertisement.No stars would be more accurate.

I bought these and passed them out to my friends. My friends frequently hike, jog, and walk the trails around our town, which is a little town tucked into the woods. I just thought that in Any Kind of Emergency having a Whistle could draw attention and help if ever needed. My friends kind of laughed at my 'paranoia', BUT each of them took a whistle and hugged me for thinking of them.

My state requires anyone using a Kayaks, Canoes and Paddle boards to have an Emergency Whistle. These Stainless Steel Whistles are ideal. Rust resistant and as loud as any Police Whistle. Used the Lanyards to attach the whistle to the Kayaks and Paddle Boards permanently.

Order arrived in a timely fashion, the quality is not quite what I wanted. However, either the team hid my old metal whistle or I lost it. Either way I got six of these and they do the job.

my dogs have bells on their collars. this metal whistle around my neck to call them rings the same as theirs. it also is not as loud as others i've had.

These are nice to carry and tie to a backpack, purse, your neck, etc. I bought them because they are stainless steel. They have a large cord, and they are very loud to get someone's attention.

Probably not stainless steel - extremely lightweight and material is not identified on product except at vendor’s listing. Does not produce a crisp sound but good enough for kids. Not worth the hassle of returning.
