I was looking at this as an easy way to use it, but in actual fact when you're first setting up your account there are so many steps that if any one thing fails its very confusing! The help system could be improved by being more clear or concise - they seem unable/unwilling do give straightforward answers (or explanations). I like that it's easy to use. It has all of my billing information already in place, which makes bookings so much easier. Also having everything set up ahead of time saves me from having to keep track of multiple spreadsheets every day! Nothing really. There are tons of ways in which one could customize this program so there really isn't anything bad about home base as far as customization goes. I like that it allows me to track my time, as well all of our staff's times so we can keep good records about how much work each person does in an average week or month! It also helps us with payroll calculations/payroll taxes etc., which are very helpful when you have multiple people working at your business (or home!).
