## What is Atomic Wallet

Atomic Wallet is a non-custodial multi-asset crypto wallet for desktop, mobile and browser. It holds more than 1,500 assets across 50+ blockchains and adds in-app swaps, card purchases through partners, staking and perpetual futures. Private keys are encrypted on the user's device; the vendor does not hold funds.

## Who holds the keys

| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Key control | Non-custodial: private keys are encrypted locally on the user's device and the company has no access to them. |
| Seed phrase | 12-word backup phrase, generated at setup; it restores access to all coins in the wallet. |
| Recovery | Atomic does not store private keys, backup phrases or passwords and cannot recover them. |
| Account model | No account, sign-up or KYC for basic wallet features. |

## Features and supported networks

| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Platforms | Desktop (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, Debian), mobile (iOS, Android) and a browser extension. |
| Supported networks | 1,500+ assets across 50+ blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Cardano, Monero and XRP. |

| Staking | In-wallet staking for coins such as ETH, ADA, SOL, TRX, NEAR, XTZ and HBAR. |
| Perpetual futures | Leveraged perpetual futures via Hyperliquid, launched in November 2025. |

## Security and audits

- Proprietary software: the licence forbids reverse engineering, redistribution or modification; the vendor says the app is built on open-source libraries.
- Local data is encrypted with AES; access requires a user password.
- On 3 June 2023 users reported unauthorised transactions; the company said fewer than 0.1% of users were affected, engaged Chainalysis and Crystal, and did not confirm a root cause.
- After the June 2023 incident the vendor said builds are verified by an external security team.

## Fees

| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Wallet | Service fees, where they apply, are shown on the site or in the app; blockchain network fees are paid separately. |
| Swaps | Cashback on swaps of 0.25% to 1% depending on AWC holding tier. |

## History

| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| 3 June 2023 | Users reported unauthorised transactions; downloads and updates were halted and an investigation began. |
| 2025 | Added 10+ networks including Monad, Linea, Zora and Optimism; Solana support came to the browser extension. |
| November 2025 | Launched perpetual futures trading inside the wallet. |
| December 2025 | Vendor reported 15 million downloads by the end of 2025. |

## Risks and caveats

## How voting works

Votes are anonymous and carry no text. Each device has one vote per item; press the same button again to remove it. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is voting. We keep a random device ID in a cookie and a salted hash of the IP address to limit abuse — no names, no accounts. Votes are visitors’ opinions, not investment advice.
