This is a cheap beginner kit that is good if you are wanting to dip your toes in and see if you like this craft. This gives you a nice variety at a very cheap price to see what you like, use, and need to order more of. If you like doing this, you will want to upgrade your awl. The one in the kit will work, but it’s not easy. I thought more of the colors were waxed, but looking back I see the majority of the colors are just upholstery thread and not waxed. Really cute. I am 5’5” and weigh 130#’s. Bra size, 36C. I normally wear a medium in tops. I ordered a large, as I am 72 and did not want this top to be tight. But, this probably runs pretty true to size for a younger person. The large is a little roomy on me, but not baggy. Just perfect for my purpose.
