The bitmex exchange is such that it has a different type from many other exchanges. Because they all have a small number of pairs, but those pairs have such a high volume of transactions that the trading volume of this exchange is like some exchanges that are several times this number of pairs.
The principle of trading in bitmex is based on leverages and the only currency that can be kept is bitcoin, which is not a very good point.
Pros
- Very high trading volume in Bitcoin
- It is popular and its account security is good
- Ability to do trades with leverage up to 200x, which I have not seen in any other exchange
Cons
- The price of Bitcoin has been manipulated several times in this exchange
