My review about OKEX exchange.

Today i want to tell you something about OKEX exchange.

First i have to say: Okex isn't my favorite exchange, but i use it to trade coins and tokens which are not listed on other exchanges. Also I participated in the Options Trading Simulation and received a nice BTC amount.

I prefer fully regulated exchanges like Coinbase or Liquid because i only feel safe when i can be sure that there is a regulatory body which ensure the securtiy standards of an exchange.

Nevertheless, i use OKEX to trade smaller coins and tokens.
They have a very nice community, great admins and a good support. If there is a problem, admins on telegram will do everything to help you.
Also they are very fast in development, they already offer perceptual trading and Option Trading, thats a big advantage compared to other exchanges.

I also tried margin trading on OKEX. I really don't like the fact that you only can use the currency you want to trade as funding currency. 

I regularly trade BTC/USD with margin on other exchanges and i use different currencies for funding my margin (BTC, USD, USDC, ETH, XRP).

In this example, i tried to short BSV on OKEX after it pumped to 400$. It wasn't possible because i would have had to buy BSV and use it as funding currency to open ashort. I don't want to own BSV when i want to short it, so I discarded my plan.

Also i noticed that there is some suspicious behaviour in the order books of OKEX, tell me an idiot but i don't think that the volume on OKEX is 100% real.

My opinion:
OKEX is great because of the huge amount of listed coins. If you are an airdrop hunter, you will be forced to open an OKEX account sooner or later.
Because of the unregulated nature and the supspicious volume, OKEX will never be the exchange i will use for my bigger leverage trades exchange and i won't deposit larger amounts of money. 
Nevertheless, the support, the community and the admins are great and you will always be able to sell your smaller coins on OKEX.
