Global aviation register with decentralized record system.

All you need to know about Aeron project.
It was created with the goal of creating a global airplane registrar on a decentralized blockchain platform, thus bringing the benefits of blockchain technology to the aviation industry. They are developing a small airline and flight school database and online portal and will become world class in terms of aviation security and transparency. It is trying to solve the problems of tracking wrong or false flight logs, pilot experience, aircraft maintenance records and spare parts.

It respects a specific problem in the aviation industry and is providing a good solution to old and inefficient methods for recording and storing data. The aviation industry jumped into the 21st Century with an unchanged blockchain-based record keeping system.
๏ปฟ
The lack of community involvement and the disappointing value of the ARN token is a bit disappointing.
๏ปฟ
Token currently has a market cap that puts it in the 518th position on marketcap, but that could easily change with broader adoption from the aviation industry. They're working on that adoption, but with aviation being an entrenched industry change could take quite some time.

Pros
  • Aeron respects a specific aviation problem and offers a better solution to outdated and inefficient methods of recording and storing data.
  • This is a completely unique project that is trying to use blockchain technology in the most probable way.
  • Aeron's protocol will be updated in real time and will be easily accessible from pilots to ATC controllers and all parties on the airline. It will also be irreversible which means there is no chance of tampering.
  • Global and decentralized.
  • Both Android and iOS mobile applications available for pilots that allow flight logs to be permanently stored on the blockchain.
Cons
  • The systems will make it possible to track and validate pilot experience and aircraft maintenance as required, although how these have been implemented has not been considered.
  • Some of the team members had fake LinkedIn profiles.
