Tellor TRB: Tool for working with smart contracts

Well thought out project that could say it is a hybrid that combines the power of the Oracle database manager with the intelligent contracts within the ethereum block chain, for some might think it is something simple and without use cases, but in reality it is a very powerful tool that opens many interesting possibilities,
It works as follows: Externally to the block chain a query is issued, this query is taken by the Tellor platform which processes the request
And it makes a request using the Pow protocol to the miners' groups who would be the network providing the data required in the query. Upon receiving the information, it connects to the ethereum block chain and interacts with the intelligent contract.
Tellor solves the problem of accessing data outside the block chain with real and reliable data using for them the network of miners who will compete to provide the reliable information.
Any external decentralized application will be able to query and interact with the intelligent contracts within the ethereun block chain
The project developed and based in the USA is totally open source and in its web is quite clear the technical information for developers, as an IT professional I was reviewing it and I see no problem in adapting it to work with any block chain that operates with intelligent contracts. And why not take the idea to work with other databases such as MySql.

Pros
  • Excellent technological project that opens many options
  • Well developed
  • Very well explained in its simple web portal
  • Open source available for developers
  • Puts the solid Oracle database manager at the service of the Blockchain
  • Lends itself to many use cases
Cons
  • Nothing to say against it
