Verus is one of the most brilliant projects I have seen recently.
If we take a look at the birth of Verus, it is actually a Komodo fork. Considering that the Komodo is also a Zcash fork, Verus has the best of both.
The dPoW mechanism in verus coin is there to create a more secure chain that is protected against attacks. At the same time, the zk-SNARK feature adds a privacy layer to the project.
Verus has created a unique hashing algorithm called Verushash. Thanks to this algorithm, it can be digged with both the CPU and GPU, preventing one from coming forward from the other. Verus is different from its competitors thanks to this algorithm.
Verus wants to bring the PBaaS autochain vision to life by developing the UTXO-based smart contracts feature that it has recently integrated and creating cross-chain commodity contracts. In other words, it will allow anyone to create their own private blockchain, providing a safe space that can be used for voting and counting, especially in government institutions
