I really liked these shoes on my granddaughter (I bought her two pairs in different sizes. They are not tight and have nice grippy material on the heel and foot area on the soles). The daycare said they didn't provide enough support, so another grandma bought her lace-up ankle-length shoes. The poor thing can barely walk in children's army boots and now raises her legs very high when she walks. She looks like she belongs in a kids ROTC! My advice? Tell your preschooler to mind their own business and let your kids enjoy these awesome shoes.
