Portable monitor 3.5 stars - good picture - cable not suitable for Raspberry Pi

When I saw this product I thought it would be great to use with my Raspberry Pi so I don't have to keep using one of my desktop monitors. I didn't have room for a full size monitor for the Pi and wanted it to be somewhat portable. This monitor seemed like a great solution. When I first unboxed it, I liked that the monitor came with a protective case, charging cable, and multiple cables for connecting to different devices. It also has a reasonable user manual that explains how to connect it in different situations. Unfortunately, when I went to connect everything, I immediately noticed that I couldn't connect a monitor to the Pi, since the USB-C port on the Pi is used for power and only 2 micro-HDMI ports are available for video. The monitor itself only has mini-HDMI and USB-C. Although the monitor is designed to be used with the Raspberry Pi, you actually need to buy an HDMI to mini HDMI adapter (or mini HDMI to micro HDMI cable) to make it work. It was a bit disappointing that, despite 4 cables, there was no suitable cable. Once I bought an adapter (it cost about $9) and everything worked - the picture quality was very good, the colors are bright and the sound is clear. Connect another cable via USB AC to get the touch function. While it works, it's messy and cumbersome. Using the monitor as a second screen for a PC or laptop was a little easier as there are more connectivity options, making it easier to connect cables. Socket is a little bulky. The only other option is via USB 3.0, which can now have up to 3 cables when touchscreen capabilities are enabled, depending on what you're setting up. You need to lean the monitor somewhere or buy another stand. In general, the monitor itself is good. It is ideal as a small second PC monitor. While it works to set up a Raspberry Pi, it's not the best setup and requires an additional adapter or cable. You'll have to play around with the cables a bit to figure out what works best for your situation, which might not work so well for those unfamiliar with electronics. The price seems moderate compared to other similar products. I gave 3.5 stars for the quality of the picture itself, but felt like I couldn't go any higher due to the clutter of cables.
