Review on Rinse Ace Extra Long Quick Connect Detachable by Brittany Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive package

This is definitely a package worth buying, it's the best value for money. The 8 foot length in my shower essentially reaches every inch of the alcove, including the entire tub. I had one of these years ago and the plastic connector seems to have been greatly improved, at least in part by the metal inside. My solution to wear and tear from constantly unplugging and plugging it back in was to hook it up to a Delta U4929-PK 3-way switch (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064TXMJM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc ) . =1). At about the same price as a metal connector from any manufacturer, this gives you great benefits. I put the rinse aid on the bottom, connector and everything else and just left it permanently plugged in (the bottom of the connector is open but never active as the atomizer stays plugged in, this should greatly extend the life of this unit). Then I wrap the hose around the spout of the tub and place it on the suction cup mount. After this suction cup was unscrewed during initial installation, it held up very well and hasn't budged since. With this switch I can turn on the shower, the spray or both at the same time. If you set it to only run the atomizer, you'll still get the "All off" option, just like a normal install. I usually just set it to run at the same time, but leave the atomizer switch in the off position. During installation you will need to wrap the included tape around the threads, I use the clockwise direction, I'm guessing 12" tape. connect and only hand-tighten. It's easy to remove threads and makes them difficult if not impossible to retighten, if you overtighten let the tape create a seal for you. We look forward to using this sprayer on our pets and baby.
