Very important! Perfect for chemo patients!

After reading the reviews of many electric blankets I found this one. The reviews were a bit mixed, but I took a chance and ordered one. I'm very glad I did! I am on targeted chemotherapy which is causing very severe bone pain and swelling especially in my legs, feet, hips and ankles. When that happens I get so cold I feel like I'm in an ice bath! My skin feels cold and my bones hurt so much I can't even walk, stand or sit. The only thing I had to help was a very small old heating pad big enough to cover my feet or knees. So I decided to finally get an electric blanket after 8 years of struggling with everything. Trust me, this blanket is worth the money! It has 3 temperature settings, like any heating pad, and heats up evenly. It is very light, very soft and perfect for use in an armchair, chaise longue or sofa. I also put it under another sherpa duvet because it's very light. I've only had this blanket for a few months and use it almost every day. At this point I'm not sure how I managed without it! I haven't washed it yet but I shake it out after use because of the cat hair. The cord is about 10 feet long or so in case anyone is interested. I also have 6 cats who love this blanket too! When I get up I have to shoo the kittens away so they're back under my covers! LAUGH OUT LOUD! If you have a pet, they will seriously compete with this soft, fluffy and warm blanket! If you know cancer patients, please consider this blanket as a gift or an opportunity to buy one! The price is VERY reasonable for such a high quality electric blanket! It's the perfect size for snuggling up on the couch or napping on the bed. Not to mention that it will come in handy in all procedures! These heated chairs only heat to that level and only for 30 minutes to an hour. Sitting there for 2-4 hours can be very uncomfortable, cold, lonely and painful. This blanket could bring some comfort to someone on a rough/tough day.
