In my 30 years of camping and backpacking trips I have had many camping pillows. Each had its pros and cons. Unfortunately, the cons seemed to stack up, forcing me to look for the next best option. I was skeptical that this would be an answer and was very pleasantly surprised! While weight was my first concern, the extra ounces are worth the amazing sleep I get with this big boy! The inflatable bladder and quilted cover offer the plush comfort of a real pillow, and the washable cover is the best part. When I run 300-400 miles, my pillow gets dirty easily, and it's great fun to knock over the blanket with my smelly clothes! My only criticism is that I remember not to pack my suitcase too deep when planning a day in the city. Small problem of course. If you're looking for a little luxury in your sleep system, this pillow is the answer. I will sacrifice other luxuries to keep this in my backpack!
