Not quite cotton, suitable for cleaning tools
Poor absorbency, not what I use for paint rags. These rags are stretchy and stretchy like spandex, not like a cotton t-shirt. I put them aside for oil changes and such. I use cotton rags to apply degreaser to metal surfaces before painting and these rags are not suitable for this.
