This product smells more like cherry almonds to me than pure almonds to me

I was looking for a cheaper version of L'Occitane's Amande shower oil. Even though I know it's not an oil, I was intrigued by the almond flavor. This product smells more like cherry almonds than pure almonds to me. I don't like the smell of cherries so that was a disappointment. Also, the plastic of this little bottle is very thick, making it difficult to squeeze the product out in the shower. I ended up just removing the lid to pour the product onto the shower pad. I will not buy again.
