Review on 🌲 The Laundress New York - Wool & Cashmere Shampoo: Allergen-Free, Adds Scent & Removes Odor, White Cedar Fragrance, 32 Washes, 16 Oz by Jeremy Lane

This wool cleaner is fantastic! I've washed at least 20 cashmere or merino wool sweaters with them and they're cleaner and softer than they've been dry cleaned! I turn my sweaters inside out and wash them in cold water on the wool-silk program on a front-loading machine. This detergent can be used in the liquid detergent container. Lay the sweaters on a dryer or towel to dry. Over the years I've noticed that my dry cleaned sweaters tend to discolor in the armpit area as the cleaning hasn't really rid that area of deodorant/sweat residue. On several occasions I have been able to fix this by using a prewash stain remover with this detergent. Because this product puts some of the natural lanolin back into the wool, my sweaters are softer than they were before the wash! There's a slight odor that usually bothers me, but in this case it's not too bad. (Although I would have preferred an unscented product.) I will never dry clean my wool again!
