Changed my life! for pillows and positioning aids

For 20 years I suffered from terrible back pain and stiffness. The podiatrists diagnosed my problem related to hip joint alignment - buttocks protrude, back is arched, buttocks are not used to naturally depress the pelvis. Thigh and gluteal muscles and myofascial relaxation (e.g. fascia roll). They feel good temporarily, but then I'm so tense day and night and I'm constantly stretching, circling my hips, or otherwise trying to relieve my stiffness. I even bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow and an Ergo office chair and I've already slept with a regular pillow between my knees. But I still woke up feeling like an old man. Then I finally realized that all the exercises and stretches in the world weren't going to help me because every time I sat or slept (2/3 of my life!), I was gradually making my hip problems worse by relaxing in my natural position . The only thing that could cure my back problems was *fixing my hips while I was sitting and sleeping*. So after a lot of research and trial and error, I came across FOUR products that have completely changed my life. TWO BUTTON BED PRODUCTSThe first was this product. Seriously, there's something about that shape and material that makes it so easy to hold a pillow between your knees all night and you really *wake up' with it still between your knees. I have never slept a night with my hips and back FULLY relaxed until I slept the night with it. I just got up on my first morning and I didn't even groan! The back was like new in just ONE night. The second product was the Restorology Elevating Memory Foam Foot Rest Pillow. This is a leg wedge that is very comfortable to put your legs up when lying on your back to relax (read, watch TV, etc.) an hour or two before bed. But here's the trick: I place THIS KNEE PAD *under* my thighs/lower back while my legs are elevated and the smooth hip alignment fully exposes my core. Nothing has ever been so refreshing in my life. There are even nights where I sleep like this all night and wake up feeling even BETTER than sleeping with a pillow on my side for my knees. Chair height and focus on my posture made me feel cramped after 30 minutes of sitting (worse as the day progressed). Trying to sit up TIRED my back as my hips were naturally slightly backwards and my imbalanced muscles (and tight butt) made me "too hard" to just sit in the recommended position. Then I got two more products that changed my life even more profoundly: The first was "Wedge - an effective posture correction cushion for an office chair". It's like a rigid, flexible bean bag that you can place right under your lower back/thighs while seated. Once I figured out how best to position it for my specific hip alignment needs, it was like achieving nirvana. But I needed another key component: a good office stool. (I bought a $15 RevainBasics foot brace.) With proper foot placement and a little leg lift, I was able to get The Wedge to really push my hips in the exact direction that they need to be pushed slightly to align. The moment I found the right position, it was like an energy funnel opening up in my body. It flew from my hips through my spine to my brain and I was literally consumed in ecstasy and stargazing. I cried wildly. A grown man sobbing at the realization that this was the first day of the rest of my life - the day my back pain would turn into strength. My disability would turn into the *competitive advantage* that people with strong spines always seemed to have in life. Your posture is EVERYTHING and we often forget how much it affects every other aspect of our lives. "), then all of those other exercises, stretches, and foam roller sessions will really start to make real progress in recovery and you'll become a master of your core energy.
