After so much rain and high humidity this spring in southern Mississippi, flying insects (misquotes, flies, mosquitoes, noise, etc.) on our covered porch were unbearable. This zapper has helped make outdoor sitting enjoyable again. Zappers, citronella candles, misting our backyard, and the misquoted city truck have all helped reduce the insect population. This zapper is so quiet my husband didn't think it was working until he cleaned it. The bottom shelf was full. It works so well that we have to clean it a few times a week. Now I'm thinking about getting a bigger one for outside and bringing it into our house for the flying creatures that come in every time the door or the dog door opens. I would recommend this product and fail again.
